AMCU Rank Patch Lance Corporal

Lance Corporals are the first rank above Private, these soldiers are experienced in their field of skill and have been targeted for leadership capabilities.  This is the first stepping stone on their way up the chain of command.

AMCU Rank Patch Corporal

Corporals are the first rank above Lance Corporal, these soldiers are experienced in their field of skill and have been targeted for leadership capabilities.  These soldiers have had the training and are in the more experienced field of leadership.  Usually they are in command of a section of soldiers.

AMCU Rank Patch Sergeant

Sergeants are the first rank above Corporal, these soldiers are experienced in their field of skill and have been targeted for senior leadership capabilities.  These soldiers have had the training and are in the more seasoned in the field of leadership.  Usually they are second in command of a platoon of soldiers.

AMCU Rank Patch Staff Sergeant

Staff Sergeants are usually in a senior role combining human and resource management in administrative or logistics roles.  These leaders have had the training and are in the more seasoned in the field of leadership and know their fields in a maximum capacity. 

AMCU Rank Patch Warrant Officer Class 2

Warrant Officer Class 2 act as a senior advisor to the commander of a Company of soldiers.  These are some of the most seasoned leaders in the Australian Army and should be respected as such.

AMCU Rank Patch Warrant Officer Class 1

Warrant Officer Class 1 act as a senior advisor to the commander of a Unit of soldiers.  These are the most seasoned leaders in the Australian Army and should be respected as such.  They have dedicated their lives to the Army and are respected and advise even some of the most higher ranking commissioned officers.  Their knowledge is second to none in the respective fields.
